The short stories of "Quartos Compartilhados e Histórias Privadas" (Shared Rooms and Private Stories) reveal the secrets of the guests and the young receptionist of a hostel, who discovers herself by observing and interacting with the travelers. In the different rooms of the hostel, the plots of the characters unfold.
The cover illustration was inspired by the urban scenery of São Paulo, and the bright colors used capture the vibrancy and energy of a summer in the city. The book is divided into rooms — living room, bathroom, bedroom and kitchen — and the illustrations from each chapter reflect these spaces, each with its own uniqueness. The hostel, after all, is an important character that shapes the interactions of those around it.
